Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Responsible  To:  General Manager, GM’s Representative

General Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the hotel’s Health and Safety Program and Human Resource’s policies.

Specific Responsibilities:
-  To implement the AHSA accepted Certificate of Recognition program with assistance from the hotel’s Health and Safety Committee.

- To administrate the Orientation of all new employees, with the assistance of the hotel’s Controller.

-  To report to the General Manager or their representative on weekly basis via E-mail or Telephone to update the progress of the work performed and to provide an outline for the coming week.

-  To further develop and streamline current Human Resource policies and procedures to enable the property to become an AHLA Employer of Choice.

-  To help establish an employee recruitment and retention strategy.

-  To hold and maintain, current certificates as they pertain to your position at the hotel.
 To attend seminars and courses as required in order to achieve this.

-  To maintain a harmonious relationship with all of the employees and to keep the General Manager informed of potential employee situations which may harm the business.

-  To General Manager or their representative informed of any security, health and safety or any other issues which affect the business.

-  To follow the rules and regulations of the Rosslyn Inn & Suites Ltd as outlined in the employee handbook.

-  And any other duties as assigned from time to time.
