The Alberta Hospitality Safety Association is a not-for-profit organization first established in 1999 as the Alberta Hotel Safety Association. Our mandate is to reduce injuries and WCB claims by providing training and other resources designed to assist industry employers with their workplace health and safety. In 2014, we changed our name but not our purpose: to engage and educate industry employers about the importance of maintaining a healthy and safe workplace. 

The AHSA is recognized as a Certifying Partner by the Government of Alberta. We also work closely with the Alberta Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) to promote and administer the Partnerships in Injury Reduction (PIR) Program.
